Four Hands Launches New Collection with Thomas Bina and Ronald Sasson

HIGH POINT (October 10, 2023) – Four Hands today unveils a new collection of more than 45 pieces created by the dynamic furniture duo Thomas Bina and Ronald Sasson. Building on a 15-year relationship between Bina and Four Hands, the latest collaboration blends modern minimalist and Brazilian mid-century modern influences. The Four Hands x Thomas Bina + Ronald Sasson collection will debut at High Point Market at Four Hands’ Showplace Suites showroom (#4101) from October 14 – 18, 2023.

“Four Hands and Thomas Bina share a design DNA. Our ongoing partnership has played an integral role in molding Four Hands’ signature style into the elevated, refined aesthetic of today,” said Adam Dunn, Vice President of Design. “This new collection, with Sasson’s influences, is particularly timely as Brazilian design is taking the industry by storm.”

The Four Hands x Thomas Bina + Ronald Sasson collection puts a new emphasis on materiality, offering distinctive combinations and contrasts. Carefully selected high-quality materials include reclaimed French Oak, which Bina personally sourced, and metal details requiring specialized construction techniques. The design focuses on modern, sculptural forms, calling attention to negative space and curvatures.

“Sasson and I draw inspiration from our global travels and believe nature is the best designer,” said Bina. “These timeless pieces with beautiful natural character and intentional contrasts are the perfect extension of the collaboration with our friends at Four Hands.”

The new collection is a fusion of Bina’s Brutalist and heavy design sensibilities, deriving from his experience starting from the ground up on a factory floor, with Sasson’s design ethos, whose softer lines and curves take inspiration from the study of fine art in European galleries. The calm, soothing color palette combines with signature slacked cushioning, intentional wrinkles, old woods and soft fabrics to promote an overall relaxed comfort aesthetic.

The Four Hands x Thomas Bina + Ronald Sasson collection is available at Marketplace for retailers and interior designers. For more information on how to join the Four Hands Trade Program, visit here. Consumers can click here to find local retail stores carrying Four Hands products.
