Artisan-Made Belgian Linen™

Four Hands is proud to launch new products made with quality Belgian Linen™ and linen blends sourced from Libeco™ at Las Vegas Market. To make this fabric, multi-generational artisans with over 160 years of experience weave the highest quality flax using a time-honored approach. Libeco’s authentic process results in premium fabric that is mindfully made and easy to care for. Certified Oeko-Tex® STANDARD 100, these fabrics are produced in a dedicated carbon neutral-facility without the use of toxic chemicals, placing a smart, sustainable spin on traditional linens.

“The linen and linen blends from Libeco offer the highest level of practical luxury—sophisticated and refined, yet naturally durable and soft to the touch. These fabrics are the perfect complement to our latest lived-in styles and sustainable slipcovers, continuing our commitment to the highest material quality and designs that will last the test of time,” said Rick Lovegrove, President of Upholstery.

“Much like Four Hands’ design ethos, our fabrics are rooted in tradition with a future-forward mindfulness,” added Bart Vandamme, co-CEO at Libeco.

Crafted Minimalism

Crafted Minimalism was built off the aesthetic and ethos of the 19th century Arts & Crafts Movement. As a response to industrialization, this movement focused on returning to a simple way of life. Inspired by nature, designers used raw materials with natural qualities and straightforward furniture forms to deliver a more crafted look. This winter, the Four Hands design team applied these notions to new styles and worked with manufacturing partners to focus on the traditional disciplines and techniques.

“Crafted Minimalism has become a defining style for our brand, demonstrating quality in simplicity,” said Adam Dunn, Vice President of Design.

Reimagined Classics

Four Hands also focused on reimagining classics this winter. Drawing elements from antiques and recognizable styles from across the world and over the decades, these pieces incorporate elements from history while infusing them with modern day design.

“It’s about a thoughtful mix of design eras and different movements. Think the traditional English Roll Arm paired with a contemporary chair shape and finished in casual linen, or a Swedish detail pulled from a case piece, exploded, and simplified, to be used as the base of a dining table,” reflected Adam Dunn, Vice President of Design.
