Four Hands Captures Subtle Sophistication with New Summer Collections

PRESS RELEASE

LAS VEGAS (July 25, 2023) – Four Hands, the leading global designer and wholesaler of lifestyle home furnishings, today unveils the brand’s summer collections, featuring more than 325 pieces spanning a variety of product categories. Anchored in Four Hands’ philosophy of endless creative experimentation, the new introductions take novel approaches to long-standing design principles, bringing refined expressions, quality materials and understated elegance to modern home furnishings. The summer collections are set to debut at Las Vegas Market in building A-140, from July 30 – August 3, 2023.

Building on Four Hands’ celebrated reputation for crafting the next iterations of leading design stories, these latest introductions showcase fluid forms, natural materials, structured lines and detailed designs that exude effortless style. In a continued commitment to eco-friendly design and responsible manufacturing, Four Hands is proud to be the first to introduce Eucapel Leather, a sustainably tanned leather, processed using fallen eucalyptus leaves in place of chemically reliant processes.

“We’ve seen a profound resurgence of homeowners and designers looking to curate well-crafted spaces by making more intentional choices, rather than simply filling rooms with trending pieces,” said Adam Dunn, Vice President of Design. “This less-is-more approach isn’t a reduction in style, but rather a move to create softened, comforting spaces.”

Whether developing completely new styles or reimagining traditional favorites, Four Hands designed new summer introductions to deliver functionality and promote tranquility in every room. The team accomplished this by focusing on craftsmanship with natural, high-quality materials, embracing both movement and practicality in shape and size, and paring back modern design features to be organic yet luxurious.

Four Hands summer introductions are available on Marketplace for retailers and interior designers. For more information on how to join the Four Hands Trade Program, visit here. Consumers can click here to find local retail stores carrying Four Hands products.

Four Hands Las Vegas Market Summer Introductions

Eucapel Leather

Four Hands is dedicated to the consistent integration of innovative sustainable design efforts. Following three years of development, Four Hands is proud to be the first to offer products made with Eucapel, a carbon-neutral, vegetable-tanned leather processed using fallen eucalyptus leaves. Eucalyptus leaves are a renewable resource that contain a natural tannin, eliminating the need for chemicals typically used as the tannin agents in the leather process.

This process also leverages the waste of the meat industry and the unused eucalyptus leaves discarded by the paper industry as a more sustainable way to craft leather. Additionally, sourcing these leaves helps to prevent wildfires while the production process saves up to 40% of water compared to traditional methods.

“Eucapel will be a game changer in the home and design space. The vegetable-tanned leather maintains all the essential properties of traditional leather while the sustainable processing methods allow for a much more natural look and softer feel to the leather,” said Rick Lovegrove, President of Upholstery.

Fluid Forms

Inspired by sculptures and organic movement, Four Hands introduces fluidity to its offerings through columns, curvature and pebble forms. These pieces feature cylindrical legs, smooth lines and inflated cushions producing polished, stylish pieces that create comfort and movement within a space.

“We’re seeing continued interest in thoughtful combinations of comfort and style, opening the door for these soft and organic pieces to serve as a focal point reminiscent of artistic sculptures, while also providing a sense of natural comfort in the space,” said Dunn.

Understated Modern focuses on coastal, casual furniture forms and restrained design formats that allow the fine details to carry each piece, from the open grain woods with limited distressing to the clean ironwork with matte finishing.

“We aim to foster the creation of living spaces that are as rich in meaning as they are visually stunning,” said Dunn. “Understated Modern is all about following our instincts –– we asked ourselves, ‘How can we shape these modern designs to reflect who we are and what we value today?’ In designing pieces made with such character, we hope to deliver beautiful, interesting pieces that inspire comfort, calm, and livability.”
