Style to the Max: Celebrating the Statement Piece at High Point Market
The styles heading to High Point are all about striking shapes and big presence. To round out the earthy tones and natural textures of our new intros, we’re bringing maximalist notes into play, spurring a whole new look. As we emphasize form-driven details and thoughtful layering, curves gain edge and finishes take on new tone. Add into that mix a dash of the abstract, and inspiration evolves into impact. See some of the sculptural standouts of our fall debuts, then explore them all in our High Point showroom later this month.
Modern industrial, revamped. Open, gunmetal-finished iron supports shelving of smoked glass, with floatlike circle and square shapes to nod the Greek inspiration behind the Nicos Bookshelf.
Two triangle-shaped sections of antiqued sepia glass up the intrigue of the geo-driven Briar Mirror, framed out by bronze-finished stainless steel.
Finished in a satin brass, the cage-style Chelsia Reversible Plant Stand features a removable interior, as to be flipped to fit two sizes.
Go bold with a shape-driven statement. Almond-finished oak encases patterned door fronts of mixed-finish mirror, with slim iron legs to round out the Lena Media Console’s modern material mix.
Mix It Up
Wide, plank-style legs of brass-finished steel feature an ombre pattern and intersecting beam, while the Brennan Dining Table's black oak top flaunts natural graining for a rich takeaway.
Exclusive performance-grade upholstery features vertical channeling and boucle-like texture, for a lustrous feel. The Rooney Swivel Dining Chair's hairpin legs lend a dainty finishing touch.
Inspired by Japanese Tatamis, the June Chair’s cleverly constructed outer frame consists of natural cane and black parawood paneling. Adding to that clean color contrast sits cream linen-blend performance upholstery exclusive to Four Hands.
Upholstered in a modern slate tweed exclusive to Four Hands, the Kingsley Sectional's blend of boucle hues make for a textural, well-tailored sit with mid-century airs.
Fit for entertaining, the Payne Nesting Coffee Table’s oval-shaped layers are designed to slide together or apart with ease, with one taller taupe glass tabletop and a shorter blue glass surface.
Spark style and conversation with the modern-minded Ansen Chandelier, featuring dark brass-finished steel and eight frosted glass globes.
Channeling, by Bangkok-based art house Coup D'Esprit, is printed on top-quality watercolor paper with walnut framing.
Set atop a scalloped plinth base, butterscotch-colored top-grain leather features wide track arms, pillowtop cushioning and matching pillows to complete the Ludwig Sofa’s mid-century-meets-classic-Italian look.
Inspired by Parisian antiques, classic materials meet fresh functionality, as the Bromley Magazine Rack’s grey iron base and green marble tabletop stand ready to store favorite periodicals in style.
The Viv Desk presents the perfect place for creative writing or email catch-up. Charcoal-finished iron frames supports an oval-shaped tabletop of white marble, with a suspended black stone shelf adding extra space for desk or vanity storage.
Work in style. The Farina Desk Chair's shapely chamfered seating is upholstered in a textural poly blend, with a four-star stainless steel base for a hint of modern glam.
