IN THE GROOVE
Naturally beautiful, oak woods enable the creation of a purposeful look, depending how its vein structure is blended. Whether cathedral, straight grain or quarter sawn, smoked or wire-brushed, the end result is inherently impactful.
Angular lines and linear repetition are major players on the modern design front. From cross-hatching to open slats and overlapping, repeated lines have a way of drawing the eye in, and keeping it moving.
Interesting textures are integral to a well-balanced space. We’re broadening the scope of traditional texture – taking it beyond tactile and emphasizing its effect on the full look and feeling of a room. From acid etchings to sunburst patterns, ombre highlights to woven leathers, texture – in all its forms – brings great depth into view.
Few trends are as eye-catching as the contrast of two-tone furniture. Shades of white and natural meet to nod mid-century style, while black and natural fuse for a more classic look with stark contrast.
We’re drawn to bold pops of color to mix fluidly with neutrals, striking that just-right balance between vibrant and organic. This year, our color story is driven by accent pieces like rugs, pillows and art, thanks to their ability to craft that distinctively layered look.
See these trends and more up-close in our High Point showroom starting October 13, and stay tuned for more new style previews as we get closer to Market.
